The look of a weather beaten, peeling paint job

There could be several factors contributing to the paint falling off your house. Although it’s difficult to pinpoint the root cause, there are commonalities between most home owners dealing with this problem. They include (1) harsh weather conditions – blistering sunlight, heavy precipitation, dry heat, excessive humidity (2) poor surface preparation – the surface was not properly cleaned, scraped or prepared for painting (3) type of paint – avoid using cheap paints or inferior quality paints. Portland based Miller Paint  is strongly recommended (4) improper allocation – clean, even and equal paint distribution to all areas are important to ensure the amount of paint is evenly applied.

Professional painters always guarantee their work for a specified period of time. It is important they use paint which are specific to a given geographic area. Certain paints might mitigate water damages and prolonoged rain, especially Portland paint jobs.
